Vivo's new mid-range smartphone -- Vivo Y300 -- is ready to hit the Indian market. The company will unveil the smartphone in full glory on November 21 at 12PM. After launching the Vivo Y300 Plus lat month, it is speculated that the standard variant of the series will be priced a little lower. The Plus variant was launched at a starting price of Rs 23,999. Therefore, the Vivo Y300 could be priced around Rs 20,000. While this is just a conjecture, the company has confirmed the design of the upcoming smartphone. The Vivo Y300 features a dual camera setup housed on a rectangular island. It also features a ring light placed right below the camera lens. The Vivo Y300 sports a boxy design with a metallic frame. The company has confirmed that the phone will come in three-colour options: Dark Purple, Sea Green and Grey. The company is yet to reveal the marketing names for these variants. The back panel indicates one interesting camera detail. The Vivo Y300 will feature Aura lights, for improved low-light photography.

To compare, the design language of the back panel is quite different from its predecessor, the Vivo Y200, launched last year.

The Vivo Y300 is shaping up to be a sleek mid-range smartphone, featuring a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is rumoured to sport a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary lens, alongside a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies.

Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, it may offer up to 8GB RAM, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14. Additional highlights include IP64 water resistance, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, stereo speakers, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Vivo Y300 Price (leaked)

The Vivo Y300 5G is speculated to be available in 8GB and 16GB RAM and 128GB and 256GB storage variants. According to the latest leak, the price for the vanilla model starts at Rs 21,000. The top-spec variant is expected to be priced around Rs 24,000. However, the company is yet to disclose the price.
