Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra is generating a lot of excitement ahead of its launch in January 2025. Rumored to feature upgrades in design, hardware, and camera capabilities, this flagship smartphone is expected to bring several improvements to the Galaxy lineup. Here is a look at the leaked specs, design, and expected India price.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra leaked specs, design

Leaked renders suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra could adopt a flat-frame design, moving away from the curved edges seen in earlier models. While maintaining its signature S-Pen integration, the phone may offer a more balanced look with slightly softer corners than its predecessor. The bezels around the display could be more minimal, as suggested by the renders. The rear camera setup arrangement might remain as the older models.

The device is tipped to feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen, slightly larger than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with a high resolution of 3,120x1,440 pixels. Reports hint that Samsung may retain the M13 panel for cost efficiency with an anti-reflective coating for improved outdoor visibility.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, there are indications that Samsung could also consider introducing its Exynos 2500 processor for specific markets. Recent benchmarks hint at the possibility of different variants, although it’s uncertain whether the company will revert to its regional Exynos strategy.

Camera performance is a significant focus for Samsung’s Ultra models, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra may feature a new 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The device is also said to carry a 200-megapixel primary sensor, alongside telephoto cameras offering 3x and 5x optical zoom. This setup could deliver sharper and more detailed images.

The Ultra model is likely to include a 5,000mAh battery, similar to its predecessor. As usual, you won't get a charger in the retail box, just like big brands like Apple and Google. It will likely have support for IP68 and IP69 water-resistant ratings.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, S25, S25+: India price (expected)

In India, the Galaxy S25 series might see a price hike of Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000 compared to its predecessor. Based on past pricing trends, the Galaxy S25 Ultra could be priced around Rs 1,34,999, while the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 might cost Rs 1,04,999 and Rs 84,999, respectively. However, there’s a possibility that Samsung may retain current pricing to remain competitive, especially since rivals like Apple have kept their prices steady for the iPhone 16 series. But, these are not the official prices and users are advised to take these details with a pinch of salt.
