This update, with version number AP2A.240805.005.S4, was expected to include the November security patch. However, users claim that the security patch level remains at August 2024. Despite this, the update brings some much-needed bug fixes and improvements to features like adaptive brightness, Bluetooth connectivity, and media player performance.

While the Pixel 5a was not officially launched in India, users of older models like the Pixel 6a may want to consider upgrading soon.
