A month after Xiaomi announced the Watch 5 Active, the smartphone company is now all set to launch the Watch 5 lite in India. Redmi has confirmed on social media that the watch will be launched on September 25. The smartwatch will feature a large 1.96-inch AMOLED display. It is also teased to come with Alexa support and 5ATM water resistance. Along with that users will also get the bluetooth calling feature, which will let them make calls straight from their wrist.

Announcing the launch of Redmi Watch 5 lite, the company took to Twitter and wrote, “Give your style an extra pop with the AMOLED display on the all-new #RedmiWatch5Lite - perfect for all your adventures!Ready to flex and #MakeYourMove? Because we definitely are!Mark your calendar: launching on September 25, 2024.”

Xiaomi has listed the watch on its website.The listing shows that the Redmi Watch 5 Lite will have a 1.96-inch AMOLED screen and built-in GPS for precise location tracking. It’s also water-resistant with a 5ATM rating, so it can handle swimming and other water activities without worry. One of the standout features is Bluetooth calling, meaning you can make and receive calls directly from your wrist—no need to pick up your phone!

On a related note, the Watch 5 Active was launched a month ago. The Redmi Watch 5 Active comes with a sleek and functional design. It has a large 2-inch high-resolution LCD display with 320 x 385 pixel resolution and adjustable brightness up to 500 nits.
