Xiaomi's sub-brand, Redmi is all set to launch its new series -- Redmi Note 14 series. A week after marking December 9 as the launch date, the company could not hold back the excitement and revealed a few details of the high-end model of the series. The company has recently teased the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ model on its online store. While it has confirmed a few specifications of the upcoming phone, this is also an indication that all three models released in China in September, are coming to India. The series will include Redmi Note 14, Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+. According to the microsite, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will come in three colours. Let's look at what is already out.
Redmi Note 14 Pro+ to launch on December 9
The company has announced its SuperAI technology with over 20 AI-powered features, which will be introduced via an OTA update. The phone showcases a harmonious blend of symmetry and curves, inspired by Xiaomi's Alive design language. It will be available in Purple, Black, and Blue, with the Purple variant featuring a premium vegan leather finish.
The device boasts a curved AMOLED display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It also features a 50-megapixel with telephoto camera.
Redmi Note Pro+ expectations
Since the camera specifications and design so far have been the same, we can anticipate that the various details will overlap. To recap, the model launched in China in September has a 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED screen, runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, includes a 50-megapixel main camera with a Light Fusion 800 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and is equipped with a 6200mAh battery supporting 90W fast charging.
The series appears to focus on delivering competitive specifications, particularly in display quality, camera versatility, and battery capabilities, to strengthen its position in the mid-range smartphone market.
Since, no specification is confirmed yet, we advise you to take this information with a pinch of salt. All specs will be revealed on the launch date. However, so far, we know that the phone will be deeply integrated with AI and will sport a marvellous camera lens.
