🔎 Anyone looking to buy their first pair of headphones during Black Friday, whether they are wired or wireless, might find all the deals a little overwhelming. If you're unsure where to start we have written an entire guide on how to choose the right pair of headphones which covers a wide range of things to consider.

🎧 Think about what style you want (wired or wireless, in- or over-ear), the features you need (noise-cancelling, ultra-long battery life, touch controls) and when and where you are going to be using them. Audiophiles assemble!

The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 over-ear wireless headphones are now down from £599 to just £399 at Amazon. That's a huge £200 off and their lowest price to date. Given we rated these headphones five stars at their full asking price of £599, the fact they can now be yours for £200 less is certainly a bona fide Black Friday deal.

We said they sound even clearer and more precise than the laser-like accuracy of the Apple AirPods Max, treating our review team to "a level of clarity and insight here that we haven’t heard bettered at this level". Considering the AirPods Max are £429 at John Lewis, the B&W Px8 are currently the better buy if you want to splash out on a pair of truly luxurious headphones.

Now this is what I call a real Black Friday bargain! The superb Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are the best noise-cancelling earbuds we have tested yet, and they are now down to their lowest-ever price of £198 at Amazon.

This beats their previous best price, £209, from a few weeks ago, and is a HUGE £112 saving compared to their initial launch price. The What Hi-Fi? review team praised these five-star buds, saying "they nail comfort, noise-cancelling and sound quality." While we love the Bose's rivals, the Sony WF-1000XM5, for their sonic attributes, the Bose QC Earbuds are the top choice if you want the best, most comprehensive ANC performance in earbuds.
