OpenAI’s ChatGPT search is now live for all users. Additionally, users can set it as their default search engine, replacing Google. Earlier, the feature was launched only for the paid users.

OpenAI on Monday said it is making ChatGPT-powered internet search available to all users, escalating its threat to Google's dominance.

The search capability in ChatGPT will be available across the web client, as well as mobile and desktop apps.

After initially rolling out ChatGPT search to paying subscribers earlier this year, OpenAI is now opening it to all users.
