Newborn baby missing from Yangon Central Women's Hospital; Family seeks assistance
· Eleven Media Group Co., LtdA newborn baby has reportedly gone missing from Yangon Central Women's Hospital and remains un-located.
According to a family member, the nine-day-old infant, under medical care due to health concerns, disappeared on October 30 around 4:00 a.m.
"The mother had arranged for a caregiver to assist with the baby's care, but CCTV footage reveals that this caregiver, along with another individual, coordinated the abduction. The woman involved wore a mask and religious headgear, making identification challenging," a family member reported.
There have been misleading reports on social media claiming the baby was found near Nyaung Khashe Gate. However, the family clarified, "The rumor about finding the baby was false and appears to be part of a scam asking for money. We haven't located the baby yet."
The parents, residents of Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township, are seeking any information that might help recover their missing child.
