John MacNamara headed the disgraced late Harrod's tycoon Mohamed Al Fayed's extensive security operation.

Harrods could be in line to pay out millions of pounds to female employees who allege they were sexually abused by Mohamed Al-Fayed , after legal experts accused the store of 'systemic wrongdoing'.

A 42-year-old, known only as Gemma, said Al Fayed had humiliated her in front of three well-known celebrities on his multi-million-pound vessel when it was moored in Monaco.

A spokesperson for the Ritz hotel in Paris, which Al Fayed also owned, said it "strongly condemns any form of behaviour that does not align with the values of the establishment".
