Salmon Arm-Shuswap candidates share their plans for election day and how they're feeling as residents head to the polls for the B.C. provincial election 2024.

Three candidates are hoping to replace incumbent MLA Brittny Anderson in the Kootenay Central riding Saturday.

Polls close at 8 p.m. for the Vernon-Lumby riding where four candidates are vying for seat in provincial government. 

In Vernon-Lumby, there’s just 385 votes between the top two contenders for the MLA position  – one defeated candidate is hoping for a local win.
