A Salmon Arm driver spent some time in the drunk tank after he was arrested for public intoxication following an afternoon traffic stop.

An intoxicated driver had his BMW impounded after giving RCMP officers registration papers for the wrong vehicle and allegedly smelling strongly of alcohol.
